Program Details

The online Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management program is designed for students who wish to prepare for careers in emergency management, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and business/industry.  The interdisciplinary curriculum blends theoretical perspectives with professional practice while emphasizing application of knowledge to practice settings.  Students can choose from two minors: Homeland Security or Public Safety Telecommunications.  The Homeland Security minor includes courses in planning and preparedness for Homeland Security, terrorism, transportation security, and management systems in disaster, and the Public Safety Telecommunications minor includes courses in public safety communications and issues within public safety telecommunications.

Requirements

  • Official high school transcript
  • GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale
  • ACT 20 and above (Composite) or SAT 1030 and above (Combined Critical Reading and Math)
