Program Details

The online Master of Science in Reading program prepares candidates to help students become successful in reading and literacy.  The curriculum prepares candidates to initiate methods of action research while utilizing technology to collect and analyze data extracted from formal and informal assessments while providing insight on utilizing individual and collective data to guide differentiated instruction.  Coursework provides expertise in diagnosing causes of reading deficiencies and prescribing developmentally appropriate methods and materials to optimize student success.
