Program Details

The Certificate in IT Help Desk from Ivy Tech Community College is an online information technology degree program that can lead to employment and/or an associate degree, helping you better yourself for the future.  In addition, this leads to certifications in the Information Technology Support field including CompTIA: A+ and Network+; Microsoft Certified Professional: Configuring Windows; and Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Fundamentals and Windows Server Administration Fundamentals.  This certificate offers targeted, short-term training in IT Help Desk fundamentals, preparing students to be help desk technicians in almost any industry in any Information Technology Support environment.

The curriculum teaches students about tearing down and rebuilding computers along with customer support software and project management.  Graduates are able to diagnose computer related issues and walk customers through resolving those issues.
