Program Details

Ivy Tech Community College offers an online computer information systems degree program, the Certificate in Informatics.  These certificates include both technical and professional courses focused on the industry and designed to prepare students for the workforce.  With this certificate, you will complete targeted, short-term training in informatics, learning how technology is used in society and how it can be improved to enhance productivity and communication.  This can lead to certifications in the Informatics field in such areas as CompTIA A+ and Network+, and Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Fundamentals.  Students can also apply course credits in this certificate program toward technical certificates and associate degree programs in informatics.
