Program Details

The Associate of Science in Computer Science is an online computer science degree from Ivy Tech Community College.  This program prepares students to develop, test, implement, and maintain the programming data structures used in daily life.  You will learn to work with computers, smart phones, mobile devices, and game consoles as you explore what computers can accomplish.  Plus, courses cover the history and evolution of machines, the social impact of computers, and the code of ethics.  

With a degree in Computer Science, students have the practical knowledge needed for entry-level careers in positions involving technology, including the sectors of:

• Science and research
• Industry
• Business
• Military

Graduates of this program are also able to seamlessly transfer to a four-year institution through Ivy Tech’s “Transfer as a Junior” program.
