Program Details

Graduates of IU Online’s Master of Arts (MAT) for Teachers in Mathematics learn the art and science of teaching at the high school and community college levels. The online STEAM education curriculum provides credentials as a dual-credit instructor.

Students learn about research, diversity and inclusive teaching, and instruction and curriculum. Within the mathematics component of the online STEAM MAT, study topics include algebra, topology and geometry, and probability and statistics. 

Students can enroll in online courses across all participating campuses through the consortium model at IU Online. This online STEAM education imparts knowledge such as:

  • Learning to interpret and analyze mathematical data for real-world applications
