Program Overview

Indiana University offers the online Master of Public Affairs, a study of the vast range of policies, projects, and principles aimed at resolving important societal problems. This degree combines the Master of Public Administration and the Master of Public Policy which results in a very versatile and marketable degree.

Core courses include public management, statistical analysis, public management economics, law and public affairs, and public finance and budgeting. You also complete a capstone course that allows you to synthesize what you have learned throughout the program. In addition, you gain relevant experience through an internship or research project, or you demonstrate ways you have already gained experience through employment or volunteer service.

    School Overview

    IU Online hosts more than one hundred online degrees, ranging from associate and bachelor programs to doctoral degrees. Students can choose to enroll in one or two online courses, complete a degree, or further education by pursuing a graduate certificate or degree.
