Program Details

Indiana University offers the Graduate Certificate in Composition Studies, an online writing degree.  Students study the theory and practice of writing instruction, especially as it is practiced in composition courses at the high school and university levels.  With this degree in writing, you will gain a graduate-level education in composition studies.  This is useful for those who teach English as the high school or post-secondary level, or for those who want to teach writing at the community college or university level but do not hold an MA in English degree.  Courses cover topics including:
