Program Details

The online Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction program develops leadership skills in instruction and curriculum planning.  Students take courses in professional education including research in education, curriculum fundamentals, and development through the lifespan, as well as courses in curriculum and instruction, such as reading in the content areas, multimedia design for interactive learning, and classroom management.  The program is ideal for those who want to grow leadership skills in instruction and curriculum planning in educational settings such as business and industry, community and technical colleges, health services, schools, and social agencies.

Requirements

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree granted by a regionally accredited institution
  • Have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all undergraduate coursework; or have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all courses taken at the graduate level
  • Other application materials may be required
  • The GRE is not required
