Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration / Higher Education Leadership

Program Details

The online Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration with a specialization in Higher Education Leadership is specifically designed for post-master’s degree students who want to be effective leaders at two- or four-year institutions of higher education.  The curriculum provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to lead in the 21st century.  The courses encompass the following topics: statistical methods, research seminar, academic leadership, student seminar, educational law, higher education in the US, organization of higher education, and resource management, among a few others.

  • Master’s degree with a GPA of a B+ or above
  • Official transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Detailed narrative
  • Possible personal interview
  • Courses during the academic year consist of three Friday/Saturday on-campus workshop seminars and weekly Internet audio/video sessions that generally meet one afternoon per week.

Restrictions
