Program Details

A Ph.D. in Educational Administration with a specialization in Higher Education Leadership degree is available from Indiana State University.  

This degree is specifically designed for post-master’s students. The program is to be completed in a cohort model over the course of two years, or five semesters. 

The internship core is an “experience,” which must be completed over the course of two semesters. The internships are field-based experienced that are supervised by a university professor and an on-site advisor. An objective of these experiences is to allow students to apply what they have learned in the classroom in a hands-on environment.

The courses encompass the following topics: statistical methods, research seminar, academic leadership, student seminar, educational law, higher education in the US, organization of higher education, and resource management, among a few others.
