Program Details

The online Bachelor of Science in General Studies is a liberal arts degree from Indiana State University.  This program is designed for transfer students who have already earned 75 or more college credits and wish to further their education.  With this flexible liberal arts degree, you will create a program of study tailored to support your career goals.  Regardless of the curriculum, all students gain critical thinking, leadership, and interpersonal and communication skills. 

Graduates are able to:

  • Apply relevant theories and recognized bodies of knowledge to analyze and solve problems
  • Integrate various disciples studied to develop an interdisciplinary perspective
  • Access and integrate information using technology  
  • Demonstrate effective communication strategies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Official transcripts
  • Preferred completion of Indiana Core 40, or equivalent, with GPA of 2.5 or higher (4.0 scale)
  • SAT/ACT test scores (not required if the applicant is 21 or more years of age)
