Master of Science in Health Services-Health Promotion
Independence University (IU) offers an online Master of Science in Health Services-Health Promotion degree. The completely online environment offers students the increased flexibility of attending class during their free time. Eligible students will need to hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
The program focuses on health promotion techniques, such as assessment, behavior change, program planning, implementation, evaluation and program administration. The MS in Health Services provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to help people understand the philosophy of education, prevention and motivation necessary to improve health.
IU requires 57.5 credit hours to complete this program. Graduates should be qualified and prepared for various employment opportunities, including health services managers, health promotion specialists, community health specialists as well as others.

Independence University belongs to a family of colleges and universities with educational roots dating back to 1891. In 1978, IU began to offer education at a distance and operated as California College for Health Sciences.
