Program Details

The online Master of Telecommunication & Software Engineering program is a course-only degree program that prepares students for professional practice in telecommunications and information technologies.  Students will need to complete courses in three elective categories as well as core courses:  Software Engineering, Telecommunications Systems, and Telecommunications.  Required courses may include:

  • Software Systems Architectures
  • Software Project Managements
  • Communication Engineering Fundamentals
  • Performance Evaluation of Computers and Communications Networks


  • Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science OR bachelor's degree with approved prerequisites
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or higher
  • GRE test scores
  • Professional statement
  • Letter(s) of recommendation
