Program Details

The online Master of Power Engineering is a course-only degree program that prepares students for professional practice in power engineering.  This program prepares students for leading edge positions in industry in the areas of electric power, power electronics, motor drives, and electric machines.  Courses include:
  • Circuit Analysis
  • Engineering Electronics
  • Fundamentals of Power Engineering
  • Multivariate and Vector Calculus
  • Introduction to Differential Equations


  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale) or higher
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • GRE test scores
  • Professional statement
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Prerequisites may be required if degree is not in closely related field
