Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Current Energy Issues program is only offered online, allowing the student great flexibility with scheduling.  The program explores issues related to the establishment of sustainable energy systems including energy, the environment, economics, renewable energy, batteries, and fuel cells.  Students must complete these courses:

  • Renewable Energy Technologies
  • Energy, Environment and Economics
  • Electrochemical Engineering


  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or higher
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Prerequisites may be required if degree is not in closely related field
