Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology program is a technical program for students interested in working in health care settings.  This degree combines health care with information technology, preparing students to maintain, collect, and analyze data that is crucial to the delivery of quality patient care.  This field combines computer science, business, management, legal procedures, and healthcare research.  You will learn about coding, medical reimbursement, billing, computers, information technology, business administration, and more, allowing you to contribute to the medical field without providing direct patient care.
