Program Details

The Diploma in Information Technology is an online information technology degree that is available from Haywood Community College.  This program prepares students for entry-level employment in the technology field as designers, testers, support technicians, system administrators, developers, or programmers.  In three semesters you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to use computer software and hardware to design, process, implement, and manage information systems.  Courses develop your ability to solve technical issues related to information support and services, interactive media, information security, and emerging technologies.  The program offers the flexibility to select the courses most related to your interests and future goals.  Graduates will have completed courses that contain the competencies needed for industry-recognized certification exams.
