Program Details

The online Bachelor of Applied Science in Land Surveying and Geomatics program provides fundamentals in business management to enable graduates to understand business environments and decision-making processes. The curriculum helps students learn to proficiently apply sound measurement methods, mathematics, science, and surveying tools to collect, analyze, and edit spatial information in professional applications; and helps them develop a sound background in the humanities, social sciences, and the arts, so they are able to function in multicultural and diverse environments. Graduates are competent in the fundamentals and applications of land surveying, and the acquisition and management of spatial data; are able to convey spatial information in graphical, textual, and verbal forms as individuals or as collaborating members of professional teams; and are prepared to take and pass the Fundamentals of Land Surveying examination for Engineering and Surveying. This program satisfies the educational requirements for licensure as a professional Land Surveyor in Nevada.
