Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Education on the Culture, Climate and Management track focuses on creating an overarching learning climate of safety and trust.  The curriculum combines instructional excellence with strategies to promote respect, conflict resolution, and tolerance, and focuses on both the social and educational needs of the school and the learner.  Courses include:

  • Teaching the Whole Child
  • Teaching Conflict Resolution
  • Contemporary Issues in Classroom Management
  • Culture & Family Dynamics
  • Teaching Tolerance in the Classroom

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Official copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Personal statement
  • Teaching certificate required for public pre k-12 teachers
