Program Details

Gratz College has designed the online Master of Arts in Jewish Studies program. This program is for students who plan to work in synagogues or cultural organizations and want more formal knowledge about the Jewish religion. This is an extremely flexible program that allows each student to study the area of Judaism that most interest them, including Jewish history, the Midrash, Jewish Bible interpretation, Zionism and Israel, and the American Jewish community. You will create a course of study tailored to your individual preferences and career goals. Graduates will have a deeper understanding of the Jewish religion, Jewish heritage, Jewish history, and the ever-evolving Jewish community along with the credentials that allow them to teach in Jewish schools.
