Program Details

A Doctor of Education program is available at Gratz College for students who are interested in developing leadership knowledge and skills in order to advance careers within the educational setting. Students will explore problem-solving methods through practical applications and will have the opportunity to learn how to address community educational needs in order to implement effective and innovative learning environments.

Concentrations are available in:

  • Higher Education
  • Jewish Education
  • Pre K-12 Leadership


  • Three summer residencies required
  • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with GPA of 3.0
  • Documentation of 3-5 years of professional experience in an appropriate educational setting
  • Official copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Interview with faculty
  • Personal statement
