With a Master of Public Administration with an Emphasis in Government and Policy from Grand Canyon University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences, you can learn to apply administrative skills in the areas of leadership, human capital development, policy and governance in government, nonprofit and community arenas.  You are challenged to identify and provide solutions for the unique issues facing public sector organizations today. The relationships among the federal, state and municipal levels of government are examined, along with the history of U.S. federalism and the competition among levels and branches of government. The government policy degree can prepare you to drive change at various levels of government. This program focuses on public governance, strategic solutions, law and administrative processes to help you gain competency in what makes the government work and how to improve initiatives that serve the public.
