The Master of Business Administration program at Golden Gate University may be completed online. The program is designed to strengthen the student’s knowledge and expertise in order to acquire and maintain administrative careers within the field of business. Students will improve skills in areas such as leadership, communication, and business operations.
Students have the ability to choose which program format is best for their educational needs. Golden Gate University offers the option of either completing the Traditional Evening/Weekend MBA Program or the accelerated Professional MBA Program (PMBA). The Traditional Program is designed for working professionals and full time students that are interested taking courses that focus on a certain concentration. The Traditional Program gives students the opportunity to complete courses at their own pace on campus or through CyberCampus.
Students will learn skills such as interpersonal communication, administration theory, career development, and problem analysis. Students will gain experience in selling ideas, developing novel solutions to business related problems, and organize department issues. Courses will cover topics within areas such as international issues, ethical problems, modern technology, and administration trends. Some Advanced Program courses are Managerial Finance, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Contextual Environment of Business, and Developing Strategies for Competitive Advantage.
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited US institution or the equivalent from a recognized foreign institution. Official Academic Transcripts. GMAT/GRE: Waiver may be available some.
