Master of Accountancy

Program Details

The online Master of Accountancy fulfills the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination requirements, ensuring graduates are eligible to take the exam upon successful completion, or students may enroll in elective courses to prepare for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) examination.  Courses provide experience in communication, auditing, identifying accounting issues, and revenue recognition.  Students also become proficient in areas such as accounting principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, professional responsibility, and effective accounting decision-making.  Three concentrations are available, General, Forensic Accounting, and Taxation, to provide an in-depth education in specific areas of accounting.


  • Hold an earned bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited US institution or the equivalent from a recognized foreign (outside the US) institution
  • Demonstrate academic and professional capability to study at the graduate level
  • Possess quantitative, writing, and computing skills needed to succeed in a competitive and dynamic environment
  • Satisfy any additional criteria as required for admission to a specific degree program
