Undergraduate Certificate in Management
Golden Gate University provides an Undergraduate Certificate in Management program that is designed to prepare students for upper-level administrative positions. Courses within the program will cover topics such as general business and leadership. The program is intended to strengthen skills and knowledge for first-time students as well as those that have current careers within the field of management. All courses may be completed online. The program also offers students the option of taking campus-based courses on the San Francisco campus.
The program requires students to complete 15-30 units within management courses that have the prefix MGT. All courses must be completed at Golden Gate University with at least a grade of “C” or better. Some MGT courses are Managing People in International Settings, Entrepreneurship, Legal Aspects of International Business, Business Planning for Entrepreneurs, The Manager as Communicator, Benefits Administration, Compensation Administration, and Contextual Environment of Business. Students may find that some courses have prerequisites that need to be completed before enrollment. The student may fulfill the prerequisites by either transferring credit or taking the required courses at Golden Gate University.
