The online Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program focuses on the needs of teachers who work closely with students from other cultures, providing initial teacher preparation in ESOL for individuals holding bachelor’s degrees and who have an interest in teaching English to speakers of other languages in PreK-12 settings.  The curriculum addresses the needs of teachers who work with literacy learners from diverse cultures and have had experience learning a second language.
