Program Details
The online Education Specialist in Special Education program is designed to meet the current demands of teachers who are certified in Special Education as they pursue graduate preparation beyond their master’s degrees. Students will complete content specific requirements in their Special Education concentration area, either Adaptive Curriculum or General Curriculum. Coursework helps students apply and extend content knowledge and pedagogical skills through the examination of curriculum and instruction issues and research, and allows them to collaborate with others across disciplines while developing leadership skills.
