Three-Year BBA Degree in Management
A Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management is available from Georgia Perimeter College as part of a three-year completion program for students who want to study business. While in this program, students may also develop their understanding of business fundamentals in order to prepare for careers relating to business, administration, and management. Through the program, students will attempt to advance their understanding of the fundamental aspects of business operations, such as accounting, supply chain management, human resources and other fields as they study the specific roles of managers who are responsible for managing those functions.
The program involves class work which is based on the topics and subjects necessary for operation of business and in the role of management. The curriculum consists of 123 to 125 credit hours of classes which include courses such as Introduction to International Business, Labor Management Relations, and Communication in Business Environments.
Participants who successfully complete this program should have proven their mastery of fundamental business concepts and functions, comprehend the global business environment and managing multicultural or international workforces, be able to explain ethical principles in business and functioning in a manner that reflects positive social value, and be able to utilize understanding business law and regulations as part of the guiding responsibilities of managers.
Students should also be able to communicate effectively utilizing oral and written communication skills, to utilize technology as it is commonly applied in business, to utilize effective employee management skills and techniques, and to manage human resources in order to create effective and efficient business environments.
