The online AS in Sociology degree program focuses on sociological principles and concepts while providing students with the opportunity to understand how the scientific method applies and how critical thinking is used to evaluate information. Sociology graduates may pursue a wide variety of employment or higher education in fields such as law, business, education, health & medicine, social work, counseling, journalism, politics, public relations/marketing, business, human resources, and public administration.
An Associate of Arts degree track is also available, and requires 95-98 credit hours.
