Program Details

The online Associate of Science in Human Communications provides a solid foundation in public speaking, interpersonal communication skills, and communication theory, as well as skills in critical and analytical thinking.  Graduates are able to comprehend and interpret communication texts, and effectively communicate through public speaking or written communication.  Students are prepared to continue their educations with baccalaureate degrees, leading to careers in business, industry, government, nonprofit organizations, or human services.


Degree completion requires:

  • A.A. degree – 95-98 quarter hours
  • A.S. degree – 90-94 quarter hours

Application requires:

  • Official transcripts from every college attended
  • Official transcripts showing proof of high school diploma or equivalent (if fewer than 10 quarter credit hours for transfer)
  • SAT, ACT or Placement test
