The online Associate of Science in Criminal Justice program is designed to guide individuals through the completion of their two-year degrees and develop the skills necessary to transfer to four-year colleges and universities so students are prepared for careers in law enforcement, emergency services, or the legal field. The curriculum teaches the basic components of the criminal justice system and its theories and practices using a holistic approach that provides a well-rounded skill and knowledge base that emphasizes character education and critical thinking. The Associate of Arts degree is more suitable for students continuing an education in Liberal Arts while the Associate of Science degree is geared towards studying the sciences and behavioral sciences.
