Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice program provides the educational background necessary for careers in the criminal justice field and prepares students to transfer into career-oriented bachelor degree programs known at Bachelor of Applied Science or similar degrees in four-year colleges.  The curriculum teaches the basic components of the criminal justice system and its theories and practices using a holistic approach that provides a well-rounded skill and knowledge base that emphasizes character education and critical thinking.  Graduates are prepared to structure, manage, direct, and control a variety of criminal justice agencies associated with police, courts, and corrections and are prepared for careers in the law enforcement, emergency services, or legal fields.

  • Placement test (SAT or ACT scores may be submitted in lieu of this)
