Program Details

The online Professional Master in Manufacturing Leadership program teaches students how to boost operations and performance by employing essential concepts, like sustainable system design and continuous improvement, while enhancing their abilities to lead change and handle conflict.  The curriculum prepares students to propel their organizations forward by working on real-world problems to build their skills in operations and personnel management.  Three areas of concentration are available:

  • Discrete manufacturing
  • Chemical manufacturing
  • Forest bioproducts


  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences from an accredited college or university
  • GPA of a least 3.0
  • At least one year of professional work experience (post-Bachelor’s degree) in an engineering- or science-related field
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Essay / statement of purpose
  • Resume
  • Official transcripts

Required to travel to Georgia Tech’s Atlanta campus three times throughout the six-semester program.
