Program Details

The online Master of Science in Medical Physics prepares students for careers as medical physicists.  Courses teach the techniques and applications for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and diseases.  Courses may include Diagnostic Imaging Physics, Nuclear Medicine Physics, Radiological Anatomy, and Medical Health Physics.

  • Travel to campus on select weekends for classes involving a laboratory component (e.g. MP 6757, MP 6203, MP 6204) is required.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree with two years of college mathematics, one year of physics, one semester of general chemistry and modern physics, one course in engineering-based computer programming and one course in anatomy and physiology 
  • Either a degree in physics or equivalent prerequisites
