Program Details
The online Master of Arts in Education in School Improvement program is for experienced teachers with teaching certificates and master’s degrees in education or certifiable content areas who wish to earn their second master’s degrees in education. The core curriculum takes teacher leadership to a higher level as individuals gain skills, knowledge, and dispositions necessary for school leadership roles in schools and districts. Students also learn to examine various data sources to meet school needs and develop and implement research-based plans for school improvement. Students select an endorsement/certification option from:
- English as a Second Language (P-12)
- Gifted Education (P-12)
- Instructional Computer Technology (P-12)
- Literacy Specialist (P-12)
- MSD Certification (P-12)
