Program Details
The Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning (ASTL) program incorporates National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) guidelines to help teachers think and practice as leaders and board-certified educators. Designed for teachers with one or more years of teaching or education-related experience, this program prepares professionals interested in working with gifted children. Currently licensed teachers may complete this certificate to fulfill requirements for add-on endorsement. This program may only be pursued on a part-time basis.
