Program Details

George Mason University’s Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program is designed to give students the knowledge and skills required to apply information technology in a professional environment, solve problems, and communicate effectively. Coursework covers topics such as programming, web design, security, telecommunications, and networking.


This is a bachelor completion program. A total of 120 credits are required, including transfer credits. A minimum GPA of 2.0 in all previous post-secondary courses. Program is intended for those who have completed an associate’s degree, or significant coursework, at a regionally-accredited institution of higher education are ideal candidates for this degree completion program.
