Program Details

The online Master of Education in Special Education program is designed to provide a broad base of understanding to successfully instruct all students, allowing individuals to develop successful curriculums and assessments that will enhance student learning.  The program empowers educators by enhancing the personal development and professional teaching skills needed to guide students in the modern world.  Courses are designed to increase pedagogy, methodology, and cultural awareness related to instruction for special education students in elementary or secondary schools.


  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • A minimum 3.0 grade point average for the most recent 60 semester (90 quarter) hours completed. An explanation must accompany your admission materials if your GPA is below the 3.0 mark.
