Doctor of Ministry / Leadership & Global Perspectives
George Fox University

Program Details

The online Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in Leadership & Global Perspectives program focuses on developing confident Christian Leaders who make a difference in an interconnected world.  This degree is designed for educated, experienced practitioners who want to stimulate renewal in themselves and in their ministries through the integration of their experience with advanced training, research, and reflection.  The primary focus is on the practice of ministry and builds on the Master of Divinity and at least three years of post-Master of Divinity ministry experience.  The program brings together people, cultures, and ideas from around the world to shape Christian leaders skilled at creatively serving within their local contexts.  Graduates will have an advanced understanding and integration of ministry in relation to the dynamics of globalization and leadership; be able to formulate a comprehensive and critical understanding of ministry informed by world-wide Christianity; and will engage in diverse cultural, religious, and linguistic contexts of ministry through cross-cultural field experiences.
