Program Details

The Certificate in Computer Repair Technology is an online information technology degree program from Genesee Community College.  If you are interested in setting up, maintaining, and repairing both stand-alone and networked personal computers, then this certification may be for you.  This program, which can be completed in one year of full-time study, provides the knowledge and skills needed to work on personal computers, business computers, ATM machines, and office machines.  You can also use this certificate toward earning an AAS degree in Computer Systems and Network Technology.  

While this is a more flexible option than on-campus learning, you will still complete the same rigorous courses that follow the same academic calendar as those on-campus.  You will also have the opportunity to interact with instructors and other students via course discussion boards and videoconferencing so you will not be alone as you earn this certificate.
