For more than 150 years, Gallaudet University has led advances in education of deaf and hard of hearing students and deaf rights worldwide. Gallaudet draws professors in art and digital media, American Sign Language and deaf studies, business, communication studies, educational neuroscience, government, interpretation, molecular genetics and more. They have created challenging programs that are fully accessible in both ASL and English. Gallaudet University online programs place great emphasis on the consistency, continuity, and integrity of the learning environment. All online academic courses at the University are considered equivalent to traditional courses, are taught by regular faculty, as well as approved adjunct faculty and staff.
