School Overview

Founded in 1974, Frontier Community College is one of four educational institutions that comprise Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC). Since the beginning, FCC has provided off-campus educational opportunities to residents across Clay, Edwards, Jasper, Lawrence, and Wayne counties. Classes have been taught in high schools, churches, and various public facilities so that residents could complete them in their hometown. These classes coupled with our face-to-face on-campus, online and hybrid offerings allow our students flexibility in setting up their semester course schedules.

FCC offers a wide range of courses for individuals seeking a degree or certificate program, transfer to a university, or just a few classes.
