Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Health Administration program prepares students to apply best practices in business to health care settings.  These settings range from large hospitals to small, community-based organizations.  Students learn to look at situations from a system-wide perspective and apply critical leadership skills such as collaboration, inquiry, and critical analysis.  Coursework develops essential leadership and decision-making skills while studying topics including qualitative and quantitative reasoning, health policy, healthcare payment systems, and quality improvement in healthcare.  You will also gain skills in leadership, financial management, quality improvement, health policy, privacy, and legal and ethical issues.  Graduates are prepared to become healthcare managers who possess the skills to take on key roles in health administration, public health, and patient-client advocacy.
