Program Details

The online Master of Science in Educational Administration program responds to the growing field of online education by developing individual leadership and administration skills that are grounded in philosophical foundations and research skills, so graduates are informed educators.  The curriculum provides a holistic perspective of education by emphasizing curriculum, instruction, leadership, and the classroom teaching environment, preparing  individuals to grow intellectually and spiritually, to share in the achievement of organizational goals, to function more effectively within the classroom, and to operate effectively and efficiently regardless of their designated role within the organization.  Coursework uses an integrated curriculum with interdepartmental and interdisciplinary collaboration and team teaching which affords each individual the opportunity to strengthen personal, intellectual, interpersonal, and spiritual growth.

Requirements

  • Must hold a bachelor's degree from an approved college or university
  • Intended for applicants holding a teaching certificate
  • Undergraduate quality point average of at least 2.5 (4.0 scale)
  • Official transcripts from all previous college studies
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Statement of good moral character
