Program Details

Framingham State University offers an online Master of Education in Elementary Education. Students will be prepared for teaching young children in elementary classrooms. The program prepares teachers who hold a Massachusetts Initial License in elementary education to move to the Professional License.


  • Have earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Have an Initial Teaching License in Elementary Education
  • Have a minimum undergraduate quality point average of 2.80 on a 4.00 scale
  • Provide two letters of recommendation
  • Submit a typed, 300-word personal statement
  • Submit satisfactory scores on the Miller Analogies Test or the Graduate Record Examination General Test
