School Details

Fountainhead College of Technology is a for-profit college located in Knoxville Tennessee. The college was founded in 1947 as the Tennessee Radio Service School. In 1948 the school changed its name to Tennessee Institute of Electronics. In 2003 the college changed its name again due to continued growth and became the Fountainhead College of Technology.

Fountainhead College of Technology offers associate’s degrees and bachelor’s degrees. Several of these programs of study are offered online. Online programs feature asynchronous formats, complete with discussion forums, chat, interactive sessions, file transfer programs, instructor feedback, quizzes, and exams.


Students must have either an associate’s degree or first enroll and complete the associate’s program through Fountainhead prior to acceptance into the bachelor program.

High-school diploma or GED. College transcripts (if applicable). Take a brief, 25-question enrollment exam (OR have an ACT score of 17 OR a SAT score of 830).
