This newly offered certificate program in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources is a great opportunity for anyone interested in being an inpidual that makes up the workforce of an organization, business sector or an economy. Some other terms to describe human resource department of a business would be the "manpower," "talent," "labor," or simply "people" of the business. From the corporate vision, employees are viewed as assets to the enterprise, whose value is enhanced by development. The human resource department is the section of the business that manages the people and attempts to capitalize their skills and better the business. 

This human resource certification will focus on how to identify different skills and qualifications in people, and how to work with perse inpiduals as well as people in various demographics. Aside from the specifics of Human Resources the certification will also provide students for a solid business education base for lifelong learning. Graduates are prepared for employment opportunities in government agencies, financial institutions, and large to small business or industry. 

This program is offered in the daytime, evening and partially online for maximum flexibility. Some new courses offered within the program include: Organizational Behavior in Business and Employment Law and Regulation. Course work includes studies in management, interviewing, placement, needs assessment, and training techniques. Also included are topics such as people skills, learning approaches, skills building, and development of instructional and training materials. Graduates will be prepared for employment opportunities in personnel, training, and other human resources development areas.

    Forsyth Technical Community College is a two-year, public institution of higher education located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Founded in 1960, FTCC has eight locations throughout North Carolina and offers a multitude of academic programs.
