The Business Administration - Customer Service certificate program at Forsyth Technical Community College is a more tailored program for those mainly interested in Customer Service in the business world. The program prepares students for careers in customer service and marketing.
Throughout the program students will learn to become proficient in understanding of basic theory and practice of business administration and customer service marketing. They will posses the ability to read, understand, and prepare standard types of business communications as well as learn appropriate ways to problem-solve, and decision-make. They will have the opportunity to practice interpreting data and information to various aspects in business administration, customer service and marketing. The program also focuses on effective oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, workplace attitude and conduct, stress and time management, conflict resolution, and business etiquette.
One of the main goals of this certification is to get students how to go about attaining customer loyalty while maintaining solid relationships with the customers. A career in customer service typically pays between $15,000-25,000 a year (according to the national average). It is a great way to get a foot in the door of any business because customer service is one of the main priorities in ensuring a successful business.

Forsyth Technical Community College is a two-year, public institution of higher education located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
