The online degree program for a Master of Arts in Religious Education (Youth and Young Adult Ministry Concentration) focuses on understanding adolescent and young adult religious, spiritual, moral and psychological development.  Guidelines for this program were developed by the Roman Catholic Church and address needs that must be met.  These guidelines prepare students to become lay ecclesial ministers and addresses the need for human and personal formation, spiritual formation, intellectual formation, and pastoral formation.  This flexible program offers many courses to choose from in community, family, and religious education; curriculum and religious education; adult learning and development; and other areas of religious education and pastoral studies.  You will direct your studies to either religious education or pastoral studies when preparing for careers.
