Fordham University offers students an online Master of Arts in Pastoral Care degree. This program is designed to prepare those engaged in the work of ministry to be effective pastoral caregivers in their present and future ministries. A major goal is to provide students with the knowledge and skill set they need to understand the purpose of pastoral care and how to apply it in specific situations of ministry. This program nurtures in-depth study, meaningful reflection, and the interdependence of theory and practice. You will study philosophical, theological, historical, psychological, sociological, and cultural foundations.
